“The Perils of Rising Antisemitism in Europe and Elsewhere”

Public Lecture with Prof. Alvin Rosenfeld: “The Perils of Rising Antisemitism in Europe and Elsewhere” in Berlin (March 15th)

Modern anti-Semitism is a problem of Western societies, as well as of other regions and cultures worldwide. One of its new manifestations is Israel hatred and radical anti-Zionism. What are the links between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism? When does criticism of Israel cease to be a part of legitimate or acceptable discourse and become a form of anti-Semitism? Prof. Alvin Rosenfeld (Indiana University, Bloomington) will offer some answers in his public lecture “The Perils of Rising Antisemitism in Europe and Elsewhere” on Tuesday, March 15th 2016, 6:30 p.m., at the Indiana University Gateway, CIEE Global Institute, Gneisenaustrasse 27 (2. Hinterhof links). Comment by Dr. Olaf Glöckner (MMZ Potsdam).
